III. Provision of the website and creation of log files

1. description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data is collected:

  • Referrer (previously visited website)
  • Requested web page or file
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Device type used
  • Time of access
  • IP address in anonymised form (only used to determine the location of the access)

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

2. legal basis for the data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and the log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The provision of personal data is partly in our legitimate interest, partly the provision is required by law (see point 5, second paragraph). It is not possible not to provide the data.

3. purpose of the data processing

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The storage in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. In addition, we use the data to optimise the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of the data for marketing purposes does not take place in this context.

These purposes are also our legitimate interest in data processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

4. categories of recipients of personal data and data processing outside the European Union

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on personal data to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or have received consent to do so.

An exception to this is the involvement of service providers, e.g. for the hosting of the website, who we select carefully, particularly with regard to data protection and data security, and for whom we have taken all measures required under data protection law for permissible data processing. Data processing outside the European Union does not take place as a matter of principle.

5. duration of the storage

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

In the event that the data is stored in log files, the anonymisation is carried out by the provider after seven days. After the seven days, the stored IP address for service providers is shortened by the last three digits so that user identification is no longer possible for seecon Ingenieure GmbH. Only the provider as telecommunication provider is obliged according to § 113 b TKG,
1. the Internet Protocol address assigned to the subscriber for an Internet use,
2. a unique identifier of the connection via which the Internet is used and an assigned user ID,
3. store the date and time of the beginning and end of internet use at the assigned internet protocol address, indicating the underlying time zone, for a period of ten weeks.

Further storage may be possible for the prosecution of administrative offences or criminal offences.

  1. Possibility of objection and removal

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. Consequently, there is no possibility for the user to object.

IV. Use of cookies

Our website does not currently use cookies.

V. Use of script libraries (Google Web Fonts)

In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use the font library Google Web Fonts (http://www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.

Calling up script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether Google collects data and, if so, for what purposes.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

VI. Contact form, e-mail contact, postal deliveries

  1. Description and scope of data processing

On our website, it is possible to contact us via the e-mail address provided as well as via our contact form. In this case, the personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail or provided in the contact form (first and last name, e-mail address, subject and your message) will be stored. The same applies analogously to postal deliveries.

Please note that the data entered by you will be transmitted unencrypted for both the e-mail and the contact form.

In this context, the data will not be passed on to third parties. The data is used exclusively for communication with the user.

2. legal basis for the data processing

The legal basis for the processing of data transmitted in the course of sending an e-mail or sending the data of the contact form is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. If the e-mail contact or the contact via the contact form is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. The same applies analogously to postal deliveries.

The provision of personal data is not required by law or contract, but may serve to conclude a contract for the reasons stated above. If you do not wish to provide the data, this will mean that we will not be able to contact you.

3. purpose of the data processing

The processing of personal data is solely for the purpose of processing the contact. The same applies analogously to postal deliveries.

4. categories of recipients of personal data and data processing outside the European Union

As a matter of principle, we do not pass on personal data to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by law or have received consent to do so. An exception to this is the involvement of the service providers who enable the hosting of the website and the provision of the mailboxes.

5. duration of the storage

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. For the personal data sent by e-mail, contact form or postal mail, this is the case when the respective conversation with the user has ended.

The conversation is ended when it is clear from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified. Further retention periods may result from the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung) or the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch).

6. possibility of objection and removal

If the user contacts us by e-mail or contact form, he or she can object to the storage of his or her personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued. All personal data stored in the course of contacting us will be deleted in this case, unless there are legal retention periods to the contrary. The same applies analogously to postal deliveries.
