seecon Ingenieure GmbH were commissioned to represent the client (Bäder Quedlinburg GmbH) as part of the development and implementation of the leisure, sports and recreation area (FSE) of the World Heritage City of Quedlinburg.
The development of the FSE, in the wake of the INSEK 2012 and World Heritage Plan, aims to preserve the integrity, authenticity and quality of life of citizens* through the restoration of historic sites.
The planning and implementation of the project has two main parts: a) the construction of the leisure, sports and recreation area and b) the construction of the sports pool. Both parts are state-subsidised within the framework of urban renewal in Saxony-Anhalt and through the sports subsidy guideline.
The services of seecon are provided in an advisory and technical support capacity at the interface to external project management. Within the scope of the client representation, the project organisation and coordination as well as the contract and cost controlling are supported in particular. In doing so, the standards of project management in the construction and real estate industry are followed according to the specifications of the AHO (Booklet 9, 2020).
