Energy-related redevelopment management Altchemnitz - extension 2022 to 2024

Saxony (Germany)

Project description

The project is based on the neighbourhood energy concept (2018), the integrated action concept (IHK) - revitalisation of the Altchemnitz business location (2020) - and the mobility concept for Altchemnitz, which is currently being developed. The energy-related neighbourhood concept contains 25 individual measures and is initiated and supported by the energy-related redevelopment management in cooperation with stakeholders. A project plan is being developed that will be continuously updated. Projects developed so far will be prepared for implementation and ideas for measures will be updated. Since 2021, the previous focus areas of energy supply, energy-efficient building refurbishment and lighting have been expanded to include the areas of mobility and green spaces (kfw 432 programme). The process of stakeholder participation in the form of bilateral discussions and workshops is being continued and developed as a permanent format in the area. The network of actors will be actively maintained and expanded over the remainder of the project period. It is planned to take up and bring together further thematic focal points. The public relations work accompanying the project will be continued and the content of an interactive map will be supplemented together with the actors in order to further publicise developments and opportunities in the neighbourhood. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation and development of measures will be carried out. The state of preparation and implementation, developments in the business park and the work of the ESM are presented in an annual report. Another focus is on advising owners on financing options for the planned individual measures.
