The European Energy Award is a programme for implementation-oriented climate protection policy in municipalities. It is process-oriented and serves to save energy, to use energy efficiently and to increase the use of renewable energies - and thus to save energy costs in the long term. Building on various activities in the field of energy efficiency and climate protection, the city of Reichenbach has decided to participate in the European Energy Award. The municipality's energy team is supported in the implementation by seecon engineers, who are listed as accredited eea consultants. Successes of the municipal energy work are not only documented, but also awarded.
