PLANNING OF OUTDOOR FACILITIES FOR THE NEW RESEARCH BUILDING 7.3 UFZ-LEIPZIG

Project description

The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig expanded its science park with the construction of a new laboratory building. The planning service comprised the outdoor facilities of the planned research and laboratory building on the campus of the science park at Permoserstraße 15 along the property boundary to Torgauer Straße.

The scope included the planning services in accordance with Part 3 (object planning), Section 2 (outdoor facilities) for the following areas: Construction of the access road to the building, delivery and construction of a gas cylinder storage facility including the canal between the building and the storage facility, conversion and refurbishment of the surrounding open spaces, formation of pipe trenches for drainage, supply of technical gases and media, construction of bicycle parking spaces, landscaping of the inner courtyard, landscaping of the terrace/conservatory on the 7th floor and restoration of the car park after dismantling the construction site facilities.

In accordance with the federal decree, the planning of the outdoor facilities was carried out according to the "Sustainable Construction for Federal Buildings (BNB)" rating system.
