The St\u00f6rmthal Lake, which emerged from the flooding of the residual open-cast mine, will have an extremely attractive effect on the St\u00f6rmthal locality, both in terms of residential and recreational use.<\/p>\n<p>In order to use the potential in this regard, the municipality of Gro\u00dfp\u00f6sna intends to revitalise a disused LPG depot within the existing settlement structure. With the aim of sustainable urban development and order, the development plan \"Ortsmitte St\u00f6rmthal\" (St\u00f6rmthal town centre) is being drawn up for this purpose. The area to be revitalised is essentially to be developed into a holiday home area and a residential area.<\/p>\n<p>In the residential area, it is also important to safeguard the existing urban development order. The safeguarding of a wooded area is also planned.
