Art Nouveau Park Munich Haar, outdoor facilities

Bavaria (Germany)

Project description

In 2011, the district of Upper Bavaria sold the "Jugendstil-Park München-Haar" site, which covers approx. 22 ha.

The Haar II site essentially consists of four neighbourhoods. Quartiers 1 and 3 were sold to Oberbayerische Heimstätte (OH) and Deutsches Heim (DH), which already own rounding off sub-areas along Vockestraße and Leibstraße. Quarters 2 and 4 (core area) were sold to JSP München GmbH.

The Haar II site, including the buildings, was used by the Isar-Amper-Klinikum München Ost until the beginning of 2018. The clinic operations were moved back to the Haar I clinic site east of Vockestraße.

The design planning of the outdoor facilities refers to the public green spaces according to development plan no. 190 "Jugendstilpark". As part of the design and approval planning, the public green spaces including the design of the historic forensic walls as well as the cycle and footpath connections in the Jugendstilpark were redesigned by seecon engineers. Another focus was the new play concept for the public areas.
