The broad range of services in this area centres on urban and urban land-use planning, including landscape planning, as well as concept and object planning for open spaces. There are many interfaces to other areas. It is particularly important to us to realise interdisciplinary projects comprehensively with the following services.

• Urban development planning/ concepts for climate adaptation: Urban development concepts and urban framework plans (possibly in cooperation with the department Energy and Climate)
• Urban master plan: Feasibility studies, urban designs
• Land use planning: Land use plans, development plans, especially for the project types residential areas, commercial and industrial areas, renewable energies (wind, photovoltaics, biogas), mobility concepts
• Municipal landscape planning: Green space plans for development plans and environmental reports (possibly in addition to the area Nature especially with regard to landscape planning for FNP, maintenance and development plans, ecological accounts, intervention and compensation balances)
• Object planning outdoor facilities: Design of public and private open spaces such as residential surroundings, parks and facilities with garden monument protection aspects in work phases 1 to 9 HOAI (if necessary in cooperation with the urban water management and transport divisions and Nature)
• Project control: Conducting competitions and negotiation procedures in accordance with VgV, advising clients on project management, commercial project controlling (if necessary in cooperation with the Project Management Office (PMO))
