Energy and Climate - 3719

ESM OLD TOWN EISLEBEN

Saxony-Anhalt (Germany)

Project description

The energy refurbishment management for Lutherstadt Eisleben is carried out in cooperation with DSK and planerzirkel. The focus for seecon is on working on specialist topics of energy-efficient building refurbishment, district heating expansion and electromobility. Through close cooperation with the Lutherstadt Eisleben public utility company, implementation-oriented measures of the neighbourhood concept prepared in advance are being worked on right from the start. In particular, the ESM supports the targeted installation of electric charging stations and the construction of a climate car park. The relocation of the district heating supply to the neighbourhood means that building owners now have the choice of using the heat from the municipal utility's CHP plants. The ESM is available to assist interested owners, especially if more extensive renovation measures are also being considered. Another subject of consultation is the development of a tenant electricity model for the municipal utility. The system currently being implemented is being built on a building belonging to the Eisleben housing association. This was preceded by a consultation process for the stakeholders by seecon.
